The GTA 6 Leaker Now Wants a Coin at $30 Million, or the Whole Build

On Oct 10 an account that has been posting stolen footage said a playable story build goes out if its token hits that cap, unless Take-Two ships real discs and apologizes. Nobody has shown the build exists.

The clips were already a mess. On October 10 the same anonymous account turned them into a shakedown.

The post said a playable build of Grand Theft Auto VI goes out if a meme coin tied to the account reaches a $30 million market cap. The wording promised full story mode, played through to the credits. Take-Two, it said, gets one exit: put the game on actual discs and apologize in public. Rockstar and Take-Two had not confirmed that any complete build is in those hands. Clips of missions do not prove you can sit down and finish the game.

The disc complaint is a real sore spot, which is why it makes decent cover. The boxed GTA 6 is a download code in a box, not a disc you can lend. Standard edition is $79.99, pre-load from November 12, launch still November 19 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. In Take-Two’s last reported quarter, physical retail was about 1% of net bookings. The account has also been selling the idea that this is a fight for offline modes and against DLC hidden in the base files. The coin sitting in the middle of the demand makes the manifesto hard to read as anything but a pump.

Take-Two has already been sending subpoenas toward Discord, looking for servers and users. The company has called the hunt rapidly evolving. A full playable leak a month before launch would be the ugly version of this campaign. A threat that only lands if strangers bid a token up is a different kind of ugly, and it does not require you to believe the build is real to see who the post is written for.

November 19 has not moved. If you still want the first hour to feel like the first hour, the account is not your friend, and neither is the coin.
