Spider-Man: Brand New Day - Final Trailer Out, Theaters in 9 Days, Invisible Villain Teased

Nine days. That is what is left before Spider-Man: Brand New Day hits US theaters on July 31 - and Sony just dropped the final trailer to make sure nobody forgets.

Peter Parker in a world that does not remember him. MJ swinging again. Hulk in the frame. And a villain no one can even see.

The final trailer (July 21)

Sony’s last look before release is heavy on emotion, light on pure spoilers - and it works.

  • Recap path from Homecoming through the No Way Home goodbye with MJ
  • Peter finds MJ in a diner, loses his nerve, orders coffee
  • Zendaya’s MJ trusts his warning and swings with him again
  • Mark Ruffalo: “No Banner. Only Hulk” - fight sequences with Spidey
  • Hand ninjas, a cloaked figure, Michael Mando’s Scorpion (maybe not really Scorpion)
  • Tease that Sadie Sink’s threat can look like anyone

Official logline, cut short: full-time Spider-Man in a city that forgot him, old friends moving on, a change in Peter he may not control - and that change might be the only thing that stops an invisible new threat.

Runtime on ticket sites: about 2 hours 25 minutes. PG-13.

When and where

MarketDate
USAJuly 31, 2026
Germany, Philippines, Finland, Italy + moreJuly 29
India, Australia, Argentina, Hong Kong, Singapore, UkraineJuly 30
Amazon Prime early US screeningsJuly 29

Tickets are live. Marvel and Sony are in full “get your seats now” mode while Nolan’s The Odyssey still owns the IMAX conversation - Spidey is the next mega-blockbuster in line, sold as the start of a fresh Holland trilogy.

Who is in it

Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal (Punisher), Sadie Sink, Tramell Tillman, Michael Mando, Mark Ruffalo. Director: Destin Daniel Cretton (Shang-Chi). Writers: Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers again.

Street-level reset after the multiverse blowout. No guest-star circus required - just a kid the world forgot, friends who moved on, and something in the city that can wear any face.

Why this week matters

The Odyssey cleaned up the box office. Spidey is two weeks behind that wave and one final trailer deep. Early international dates mean some fans see it before America. Prime members get a two-day head start in the US. The machine is loud on purpose: opening weekend is the whole game for a franchise reset.

In short

  • Final trailer out July 21 - emotion, Hulk, invisible villain tease
  • Opens July 31 (US); many countries July 29-30
  • Holland / Zendaya / Bernthal / Ruffalo; Cretton directs
  • World forgot Peter - Brand New Day is what he does next

Nine days. Then the new day actually starts.
